1 month/five 50-min sessions. We begin by assessing current executive functioning skills and identifying specific challenges and goals. In weekly sessions, skills will be taught in context to the student’s school assignments. Students leave each session armed with new skill(s) and documented instructions for continuing to practice their application. Between 1:1 sessions, we will provide one accountability check-in to support the retrieval and rehearsal of the new skill. This is a great option for the student who:
feels constantly overwhelmed.
has many missed assignments.
avoids or shuts down when facing schoolwork.
needs constant external support to be productive, resulting in tension and stress in the home.
