Meet Caitlin
I am utterly delighted by young people. Their authenticity, curiosity, and earnestness energize and profoundly move me. It is the greatest joy and honor to help shepherd teenagers through the formative high school years.
I am a career educator, having earned my Master’s in Special Education and teaching students—literally all over the world—since 2007. I have worked in all types of schools, including parochial, public, international, and, currently, an independent school in Ann Arbor, MI. While all of these settings are markedly different from one another, one thing is consistent: the exhilaration I feel coaching students to develop and trust in their own self-efficacy.
Throughout my nearly-20-year career in teaching, the majority of the students I work with are neurodivergent. I am particularly expert in supporting “twice-exceptional/2e” students. Though I can sincerely say that of the thousands of students I have worked with over the years, every single one has had their own exceptional, unique talents.
I can’t wait to meet your student and discover theirs.
